2005
Wolfgang Meyering & Malbrook are official the winner of the German Folk- and Worldmusic Award "Newcomer RUTH" 2005 . The other winners are: "German RUTH": Biermösl Blosn, "Global RUTH": Rabih Abou-Khalil, "Newcomer RUTH": Tango Crash, Malbrook and Nomad Sound System.

2006
Lots of great concerts in Germany and abroad and Festivalgigs at Tönder Folk Festival (DK), Folkfestival "Music of the North 07" Gdansk (Poland), Folkbaltica (D/DK), Folkfest Krefeld (D), Rod Folk (DK), Festival "Guitar across Stiles" (CR) or "Hansetag 07" Osnabrück (D)

2007
"Malbrook" is the second winner of the only European Folk Award in Germany, the "Eiserner Eversteiner" at Folkherbst Plauen 2007.

2008
In January 2008 Malbrook released their second album "Qwade Wulf" at Westparc Music.
